I firmly believe that things get accomplished when your message is simple, intentional and impactful….that is exactly what I experienced at the 2017 Excel 401(k) Conference. I have reserved the 2018 conference as a can't miss event and plan to bring our entire staff. A company retreat while filling our minds with the right message….sounds like a good plan! Two West Advisors
I really enjoyed the Excel 401k conference because it felt like the content was tailored specifically to the 401k advisor, and left out the vendor sales pitches. I came away with several innovative ideas, for business development, effective service and practice management. Mariner Retirement Advisors
The Excel401k Conference is a perfect blend of content and networking. The event has a grown over the last three years and should be on the list of 'must attend' conferences for 401k Advisors. The 401k Study Group®

The Excel 401k conference was great! The sessions were good and there were lots of other advisors there open to sharing ideas and stories. I loved the lunch round table discussions. I took a lot of ideas away from those. I hope to be back next year. Gate City Advisors
The Excel 401k team has done an outstanding job of sourcing and attracting a whole new echelon of advisors for the industry to focus on. There were so many new faces, diverse ideas, terrific energy and format! Hats off to a great job. GRP Advisor Alliance
I always enjoy attending the Excel conference and connecting with like-minded advisors. I leave each year having learned something new that I can implement back in my office and having made a few new friends. I appreciate the warm meeting room thoughtfully designed to encourage conversations, and I have fun at the events.
I also really like the size of the conference. It's big enough so I know a lot of the attendees, but not so big that it loses that more intimate feel. I continue to recommend it to my colleagues. BAM Advisor Services
In this 3 year, Excel 401k hit its stride and delivered a home run. The event size was perfect for networking and there was a good balance of topics on the agenda. You are setting a standard of excellence where others have fallen short. Keep up the good work! FRA PlanTools
The Excel Story
As a producing financial advisor since 1988, Ross Marino CFP®, CPFA, CeFT® attended multiple conferences each year. Although the events were marketed to advisors, many of the sessions simply weren't designed to help him manage and grow his practice.
So, Ross wondered…. "What would the ultimate advisors conference look like?"
He decided to call other top advisors and industry experts, and ask them the same question.
After months of phone calls and meetings, Ross decided to launch a national conference where advisors engage and learn from each other. And this is it.

Successful participant outcomes are the only true measurements of retirement plan (and therefore retirement advisor) success. If plan participants can't achieve an affordable quality of life in retirement, what's the point?
Top Advisors by Participant Outcomes (TAPO) is the recognition and celebration of just that—successful participant outcomes—and the advisors who make them possible.
Excel 401(k) will join with 401(k) Specialist to recognize and celebrate advisors who demonstrate particular expertise in the area of successful retirement plan participant outcomes. More information, as well as submission guidelines in order to potentially be recognized, are available at 401kspecialist.com.
Excel 401(k) partners with industry-leading firms to provide advisors with the best information, resources, events, and connections.
